About Rick

Rick Drumm is proud to say, “I am an Engineer!”  He has done all the engineering stuff – education, job, license, etc. But along with that Rick has enjoyed writing about engineers, and with a couple of other short careers before jumping into engineering, he has a diversity unlike many others. There are some very un-engineering traits Rick has. For example, he loves to give presentations and is fun, entertaining, and passionate about his topics. He also has a fair amount of experience on stage as an actor.

Rick co-wrote a book on presentations, “And Our Next Speaker Is…  What an accountant, an engineer, and a coach can teach you about professional presentations.” He was the engineer.

Rick has been working as an engineer for 19 years after earning a BS and MS in engineering. He is a registered P.E. in the state of Indiana.
